Welcome to Glenbar Alpacas of Ridgefield, Washington!

Glenbar Alpacas Inc. is a farm in Washington state with a personal touch. Glen grew up farming and Barb breeding and showing dogs. As we were considering retirement investment options (stocks, money market funds), we decided that we wanted something we had more control over. The decline of the markets has proved this to be a good decision. We also wanted our acreage to create income rather than expense, so we decided to expand our farm to livestock. The search began for investment animals. With both of us in full time jobs, an easy care option and return on our investment were most important. We found what we were looking for in alpacas...fun to raise and train and part of our investment future ~ an answer to our dreams. An added bonus has been many great friends made along the way. We hope you will choose to visit us and fall in love with this wonderful investment.
